XKitten KidX Chapter 2

                                                Chrona's P.O.V.

Chrona walked inside shibusen, where she ran into maka. "H-Hey Maka." She greeted.

"Who's this?" She squealed, looking down into her arms where a black kitten was.

"A Cat I found. It wouldn't stop following me so I brought it here." Chrona said.

"It's so adorable! What are you going to name it?"

"I-I don't know. What do you think?"

"I think you should name it shadow."

The cat meowed.

"See? He likes that name." Maka picked up the cat from chrona's arms and held it up, smiling brightly at it. "SO CUTE!" She then hugged the cat tightly, wich made kid blush. "Here, chrona, I got to go." She said, handing over the cat to chrona.

"A-Alright. Bye, Maka!" Chrona said, heading to her room, where she sat the cat down on the floor. "You can sleep here." Chrona put a pillow on the ground, where the cat climbed up it and sat. Chrona then lied down on her own bed, drifting into sleep.

                        
                                                      Kid's P.O.V.

Why did he have to sleep on this pillow? He sighed as he saw chrona fall asleep. He didn't realy want to be in here, he wanted to be in his own house! But he grew fond of chrona, and he actually kind of liked her. he watched her sleep. He then realized she didn't have a pillow. then he got up, and grabbed the pillow between his teeth. Kid then jumped on top of chrona's bed, setting the pillow down under chrona's head, sitting down beside her and watching her sleep before he fell asleep beside her, his paws resting under his stomach.

                                                       In The Morning

Kid woke up and yawned, then stretched. He wondered what it would be like today, as a cat.

                                                      Chrona's P.O.V.

Chrona awoke to see shadow on the bed.  She stretched herself, and got up to change.

                                                       Kid's P.O.V.

"Is she doing what i think she is...?" Kid meowed as chrona started to take her pajamas off. He quickly looked the other way, blushing heavily as he looked at the door.  After chrona finished changing, she picked him up by the scruff. "So kitty, do you want to come with me to school?" She asked. Kid meowed his approval, and chrona smiled a little at him. She seemed to start to like the cat.  Kid suddenly realized chrona wasn't wearing a dress- she was wearing a normal long sleeved t-shirt with long black jeans, and black shoes. Maka must of took her shopping for new clothes.  

"Here." He heard chrona say. "Maka gave this to me last night." She fastened a collar around his neck, and kid realized it had a skull in the middle of it. When did she get this? Kid suddenly remembered her getting up in the middle of the night. She must of gotten it when she went to go get something in the class, and maka had been there. "It has your name on it and everything."

At least it was symmetrical.

Chrona grabbed her books and hurried out the door, kid following behind.


                                                        Chrona's P.O.V.

"Hey Maka!" Chrona greeted in the hallway. "Why's everyone here?" She asked timidly.

"There's  A New nurse. Everyone's Meeting her now." Maka explained, then seeing shadow. "He's so cute! I see you've even put the collar on him!" Maka held shadow up in the air again.

"The new 'nurse' must be medusa. I wonder what she would think of my new pet...?" Chrona thought.

"Hey, What's that cat doing here?" Chrona heard soul ask maka.

"His name is shadow. He's chrona's new kitty!"

"SO CUTE!" Liz and patty rushed up to the cat, petting it.

"Hi Liz, Patty. Where's Kid?" Maka asked.

"We don't know. He hasn't been here since last night." Liz said.

"Oh well. He'll probably come to school today." Maka said.

"Oh hey, It's our turn to meet the nurse!" Liz and patty said, giving the cat back to maka.

Maka played with the kitten some more. "Hey chrona, want to come with me after school to the pet store?" She asked.

Chrona nodded as liz and patty came out. "It's your guy's turn!" They said. Maka went inside and chrona followed her.

Sure enough, it was medusa.

"Hey nurse medusa! Look at this cat! It's so adorable, isn't it!!??!?!" Maka held up the cat to her.

                                                           Kid's P.O.V.

Nurse medusa? NO! IT'S THE WITCH! He wanted to yell. Maka held him up to medusa and he suddenly hissed loudly, unsheathing his claws.

"What the-" Maka set the cat down, and the cat jumped behind chrona's legs, hissing threatnigly at the nurse.

"I guess he doesn't like you..." Maka said.

"It's okay." Medusa said calmly. "He's probably just grumpy, that's all. Maybe he'd like some milk?" Medusa poured some milk into a bowl.


                                                          Chrona's P.O.V.

Chrona watched medusa nervously, wondering why shadow didn't like her.

Medusa patted her knees to get the cat to come out from behind chrona and drink the milk.  Chrona watched shadow hesitantly go up to the bowl, and he sniffed it. Medusa reached out her hand to pet the cat, but shadow raised his hackles and clawed medusa's hand.

Chrona picked up shadow, waiting for medusa's anger. But supprisingly, she just shook it off. "I guess he realy doesn't like me." She said, rinsing the blood off her hands.

Shadow rested calmy in chrona's hands, but didn't take his eyes off medusa.

"We should be getting back to class now." Maka told medusa as the bell rang.

"O-Okay." Chrona said, following maka out the door.
